Pluto’s passage into Aquarius was only the beginning of the new Age. It was the prelude to what 2025 will be. A special, unprecedented year, not exactly easy but necessary to move to a new place on a personal level and consequently, on a collective level.
Starting November 2024, all the planets that are considered the most significant according to Ptolemaic or traditional astrology (because we can more easily perceive their energetic impact on the earth) have more than usual significant retrogradations or changes of zodiac sign.
Do you think this is a coincidence or that it happens very often? Not at all.
The only planets that change signs in periods of a year or less are Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter, so when slow-moving planets like Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and even Saturn and Jupiter that move a little faster, change signs, we feel it, and we feel it strongly. By 2025 we have all the planets doing this and more! For this reason I have called 2025 the year of the Astro Reset.
The Astro Reset is like a “bridge” period where we are ALL beginning to clarify and take action to execute a transition and see ourselves in a completely new place about which we have no reference, in 2026. For many it has to do with creating a life that feels more purposeful, more authentic to who we really are and our deepest dreams, or simply letting go of structures that we have already mastered and that do not serve the purpose of the evolution of our soul, which is ready for more.
In this blog, I focus on what you need to know to make the most of this unique phase and share with you a description of each planet’s movements, important dates, and general manifestations. In future blogs I will be developing each point in more depth.
November 19, 2024 – Pluto enters Aquarius.
The official beginning of the Age of Aquarius. A 20-year transit during which collective changes and transformations are expected to benefit the collective over the individual, promoting collaboration and purposeful living, bringing us closer to unity consciousness through connection with the higher mind, and making use of innovation and technology to achieve great leaps in the advancements in the evolution of humanity. December 6, 2024 to February 3, 2025 – Mars retrogrades from Leo to Cancer
Mars retrogrades every 2 years, and it is usually a period where external action and physicality is more difficult to contain or manage. During this stage, creative projects, children, and family or past issues may be delayed and take more energy and attention. It is also a period to review how we handle anger, force, and even our violent tendencies.
ACTIVATIONS OF THE ARIES – PISCES AREA OF THE ZODIAC – THE BEGINNING OF THE END
Pisces, being the last sign of the zodiac, has energy of endings, while Aries, being the first sign of the zodiac, has energy of new beginnings. The passage of the north node through the zero degree of the zodiac (Aries point) in the same year that Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Neptune retrograde in the same area (of endings and new beginnings), touching the Aries point 3 times, first direct, then retrograde and again direct, indicate that we are ready to end something and embrace a new beginning.
January 20, 2025 – Karma Nodes Shift from Aries/Libra to Pisces/Virgo
A 19-month transit that indicates the passage of the north node (point of evolution) through the 0 degree of Aries, which is the 0 degree of the zodiac. The nodes of karma change signs every 19 months activating and bringing evolution and learning to the area of our birth chart through which they pass. However, the passage of the nodes through this place of the zodiac is like the inauguration of a bridge that was for a long time under design and construction. The desire of the soul for evolution is so strong that we only have to make the decision to cross the bridge, the only thing is that… we don’t know what’s on the other side, nor can we anticipate it. This transit is a “Karmic Reset”, where the lessons we have been learning and that we seemed not to be able to overcome, are left behind to make way for the next level of learning.
March 1 to April 12, 2025 – Venus retrogrades from Aries to Pisces
Venus retrogrades every 18 to 19 months. When Venus retrogrades in one way or another, we are called upon to review and update our value system, self-esteem, close relationships and relationship with ourselves, and patterns in money matters.
March 14 to April 7, 2025 – Mercury retrogrades from Aries to Pisces
Mercury retrogrades every 4 months. During this period our mind is slower and works differently and more in tune with introspective processes conducive to reviewing, redoing, resuming, until we have more clarity and availability of information.
With the retrogradation periods of the personal planets Mercury, Venus and Mars, occurring at the same time or very close to each other, we review, clarify and update our internal world to expand our emotional, vital and mental vessel and thus adjust to a new energy, to the new path.
March 30 to October 22 – Neptune enters Aries and retrogrades back to Pisces
Neptune lasts between 14 and 15 years in each zodiac sign. In March 2025 Neptune makes a temporary entry into Aries during which we will begin to savor the achievement of a great dream or at least we will stop dispersing and we will begin to act in favor of said dream to see it materialize in tangible reality when Neptune re-enters Aries in January 2026.
May 24 to September 1, 2025 – Saturn enters Aries and retrogrades back to Pisces
Saturn lasts two and a half years in each sign. With Saturn’s temporary visit to Aries, we take responsibility for our change, for our new beginning, indicating that the achievement of the dream is fully supported by the stars. Saturn arriving in Aries brings with it the initiative, discipline, structure and maturity necessary to build your dream, day by day. Through challenges and limitations, Saturn restricts and contains in order to materialize. The 4 months of Saturn’s retrogradation are ideal for defining the foundations and practical steps of your dream.
June 9, 2025 to June 30, 2026 – Jupiter’s Entry into Cancer
Jupiter lasts one year in each sign. With the passage of Jupiter to Cancer, a sign in which it is exalted and in all its power, we have the opportunity to expand our emotional world together with our family, embrace and transcend our past, honor the feminine energy and create a new idea of emotional stability. Jupiter can magnify shadows to work with, but being so well positioned in Cancer, it is sure to leave a great gift in terms of home, emotional past, and family.
THE AIR ELEMENT
July 7 to November 7, 2025 – Uranus enters Gemini and retrogrades back to Taurus
The icing on the cake is in charge of Uranus, the planet of radical changes, the collective, technology, and surprises. Uranus lasts 7 years in each sign and its temporary entry into Gemini will further enhance the flow of innovative ideas and inventions beyond what our mind can comprehend. It’s a time to anchor your authenticity and zone of genius and make use of your higher mind to learn how to download unique ideas, since the diversity and speed of information and communication will be so great that you could potentially feel that your unique gifts are lost among so much innovation and technological advances. Uranus will be harmonically in aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, making this process one in which we understand and integrate the idea that our authenticity is our personal power and the path to liberation.
For all of the above, 2025 is a unique year, a year of opportunity, a star year for all those who wish to reconnect with their purpose, raise their consciousness to unimaginable levels, and expand the capacity of their soul and manifest totally new experiences.
