Venus is considered a benefic planet and, therefore, has the reputation of representing everything related to enjoyment and pleasure. However, this is only the most superficial aspect of Venus. When we analyze its archetype more deeply, we find that, in both the natal chart and the business chart, it actually represents your value system. Far from being superficial, this energy drives the reason behind everything we do. What we value constantly becomes the spark of desire for everything we decide to experience in reality.
Our values exist on different levels. Some are so important in our hierarchy that they prevent us from manifesting certain desires that, in one way or another, contradict our core values. This is why we sometimes postpone decisions or actions in our businesses—we do not want to invest in what we do not truly value.
In both life and business, we manifest people, situations, or environments that act as mirrors, reflecting back to us what we know and do not know about ourselves. The way we were raised and what we observed in our family and social circles can enrich or distort our hierarchy of values, especially if we are not consciously aware of them. As Dr. John Demartini states, “The hierarchy of your values determines your financial destiny.” This is why we tend to pursue what we value the most. Depending on which values are at the top of our system, we create our destiny.
The most interesting aspect of this, is what happens when we are fully aware of and aligned with our values. When we learn to work with them at their highest energy level and in our favor, we naturally invest in what generates value for us. Inevitably, from this frequency, we create “high-value” products and services that we firmly believe in. Since the external world is a reflection of our internal world, these offerings will also be of high value to others.
This is why Venus governs the energy of magnetism, which, as we know, is generated from what we believe has value. This is also where the law of attraction comes into play, as the feminine principle of creation aligns in our favor to bring into our lives what we believe we are worth and deserve. Thus, money—also ruled by Venus and the sign of Taurus—is nothing more than a transactional energy materialized in tangible reality. It serves both as recognition for the value we offer the world and as a means to obtain more of what we value.
Understanding Venus’s position in our business is fundamental to harnessing its feminine energy so that we can manifest abundance in a fluid, natural, and effortless way through Venusian magnetism.
